WOOO Wonder-Con this weekend! I'll be running around the whole convention Friday through Sunday, and maybe hang out with some friends in Artists' Alley for a bit. I love conventions but jeez, I have NO idea how I'm gonna get my homework done for next week. x_x

Also I don't normally advertise these kinda things, but this is for a friend/coworker at D*sneyland. She auditioned for a web based magazine on OCRegister.com and of course online voting is all about who can advertise the most. I don't even watch these things, but hey if you feel like helping her out, I know she'd appreciate it.

Gaaah school is so much freaking work this semester. I have a whole bunch of sketches I need to scan and post, I'll get around to that eventually, I promise. I also want to create a new journal header, dangit. Just NO FREE TIME.

Gah, finally I got this photo post done. I got a new camera shortly after my last trip report, a Canon Digital Rebel XT, so I was taking photos like crazy.

And because someone always ends up asking me the same question on every entry I make I'll just answer it now. YES I work at D*sneyland, in Fantasyland Attractions. I work 5 days a week in the summer and winter, which is how I get so many photos at the park. And if you have any questions on getting hired, check my FAQ.

Just an update, I'm no longer at D*sneyland for the winter. I moved back to San Francisco last weekend and classes started a few days ago. I'll be working at the park again for just one week in March during my Spring Break but I pretty much won't be free again till this summer. I just wanted to give you guys the heads up so you don't go to the park looking for me just to wander around aimlessly. I also thought this was hilarious - a bunch of the Hatter boys have told me they often have people coming up to them now asking if they know where I am.

And once again this is my LAST semester at school, meaning I graduate in May. x_x So I won't be posting a lot here on dA since I'll be concentrating on school work and my portfolio. And a lot of people have asked me if I'll still be working at D*sneyland this summer, but the honest answer is one big "I don't know." Since my school has an 80% job placement I'd like to think I'll have a job waiting for me when I graduate, but I also have to be realistic and know that it could take much longer than that.

So! If I get an offer from an animation studio, then hell yah I'm taking it. But if it takes longer, then I plan on moving to Anaheim and continue working at the park and keep submitting my portfolio to different places until I DO get hired.

Yay for uncertainty.

Oh yes, and I am working on another D*sney photo post. That'll hopefully be up soon, along with some videos. I just have to go supply shopping for school and finish unpacking all my stuff in my apartment.

So my time at D*sney is about halfway over. Just a couple more weeks then I go back to school. And I shall miss it, this has been a fun winter.

Well, there's less than a week of school left and I'm just finishing up my final projects. I fly home this Friday and apparently D*sneyland saw that as their cue to put me to work again.

So I start working in Fantasyland again starting this Sunday, the 23. Argh, not even a moment's rest. And looks like I'll be working Christmas night as well. Oh well, time and a half pay!

Now I got a lot of comments this past summer of people saying they wanted to look for me but they felt stalker-ish, and my question to that is...WHY? The whole reason I mention that I work there is SO people can come find me and say hello! It makes my day much more enjoyable. If you're looking for an excuse, bring a copy of my sketchbook, I'll gladly sign it!

I'll be there the whole month of January so if you're coming to D*sneyland at all, look me up!
