Ok, storytime!
So y'know Triton's Gardens at D*sneyland? It's an area in Fantasyland, where Ariel sits at her shell and has been greeting guests since 1996. Lovely place, ain't it? Well it's gone. Gutted. RIPPED OUT. This is how it currently looks. So why the reconstruction? Well Triton's Gardens is being transformed into Pixie Hollow, to make room for Tinkerbell and her fairy friends, all to promote the new Tinkerbell Movie coming out next month. The D*sney Fairies are their new cash cow, and these characters are expected to rake in at least $4 billion to the D*sney Company in the next year alone. I guess the bottom line is the Fairies are the new Princesses. So what happened to Ariel? Well they stripped her of her fin, gave her some legs and a dress and stuck her in Princess Fantasy Faire, much to her dismay. Farewell to the mermaid. Now most of us will only be able to look at her from a distance in the parades. The sad thing is that yes I am sad to see fish-Ariel go, but even worse, I think I may actually like this new fairy franchise. *ashamed* Photoshop Characters © Disney |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
