Artist's Comments
My second shoe commission, Alice and Reginald (the Mad Hatter).
The same as my first pair [link] , they were done on plain canvas Vans. These took much longer than the first set, only because I put a lot more detail into them.
I also inlcuded a photo of my friend who commissioned them from me because the whole shoe art thing was his idea in the first place.
The shoes include all his favorite characters. Behind Hatter is the tea party, on the sides are the oysters, and on the back is Bill. Alice is in Tulgey Wood, with the hammerhead and pencil birds and the Cheshire Cat behind her and some tulips from the flower garden. On the sides are the Queen's rose garden and the corridor that Alice followed the White Rabbit into, and on the back is the King of Hearts (hooray!).
EDIT: Again, do NOT ask for a pair of shoes for yourself please! These commissions are for my personal friends only! And I have not found a way to seal them yet, although I have received HUNDREDS of suggestions so I'm still looking into it.
Done with Prisma markers and Sakura Microperm pens
